The strategy and the course of actions that was taken by the company Management in the end of 2008, when most of the worlds industries started to experience negative effects due the Global Economical slowdown, were as follows:
- Secure and maintain the most important, driving elements of Ikaros Group Corporation.
- Move out from already familiar operational fields, in order to expand Ikaros Group Corporation’s connection network towards financial institutions and investors.
- Expand Ikaros Group Corporation’s contact network in Thailand and Asia.
- Acquire additional resources, both financial and connection vise, in order to further develop Ikaros Group Corporation’s existing and new businesses.
- Re-arrange Ikaros Group Corporation’s financial, organization and expense structure in order to become more efficient, dynamic, stronger and committed than ever. The said in order to, in the best possible way to manage the coming challenges and opportunities of the new chapter in our Corporation’s history.
As we all know a lot has been written in regards to the subject of the “Economical Crises” and its negative effects on businesses and corporations all over the world. We at the management of Ikaros Group are of the strongest opinion that the negative effects are even sometimes brought up too much as there are always so to say “two sides of the coin”.
We at the Management of Ikaros Group Corporation want to point out that for our corporation, this chapter has also been positive in many ways.
Crises – a period of opportunities.
Some of the most significant, positive elements have been for example the following subjects:
In Thailand, that can be considered to be a market, that mostly operates with and through connections, it is not usually easy to “open doors” especially for newcomers.
One might say in general, that during times with more positive market flow and business climate, it is usually more difficult for new “players” to access certain business portals and cabinets consisting of the elite players operating on the market.
Nevertheless as the times has been more challenging for everyone around the globe the past 18 months it is natural that some of “these doors” have been more easily entered for the ones with a vision and goal to create co-operations and profitable win-win solutions for all parties.
The Management of Ikaros Group has experienced that during these more difficult times, accordingly to some the most challenging economical situation during the past 60 years, the situation can be drastically different.
As most of the industries and companies have been struggling to keep their businesses profitable or even feasible all parties, operating on these arenas, have been very keen on finding additional ways to create cash flow and/or new profitable ways for developing their businesses. The said means that there is a golden opportunity to grasp for the ones that can provide simple, understandable and innovative business concepts and solutions.
Even if these times have been, sometimes, hard also for us at Ikaros Group we at the Management are confident that this period in time has been a time of change in a very positive direction and most probably even one of the best possible events in the history of Ikaros Group Corporation.
During this period of challenging economical climate some doors that otherwise would not have been open, have now been having a “red carpet” in front of them, welcoming the ones, who are not there with the purpose of selling, but with a concept to create a network of co-operations between all parties involved with a result that creates a true win-win situation.
In other words, we at the management of Ikaros Group Corporation, have experienced that these times are times that are most suitable for creating extremely valuable and even lifelong business relationships that will show themselves to be of a key importance factor once the economical climate turns and suddenly gets warmer.
Mission
The work done as well as our future work on the “networking side” is managed with a target to place Ikaros Group Corporation into a “key role” on the business arena in Thailand.
We know that once the “financial climate” improves and the “winds” are becoming more favorable, our organization will not just be ready, but trimmed and sharp enough to enjoy the harvest that will be there for those that have been building a strong foundation to launch from.
The mission of the Management of Ikaros Group Corporation, is a continuous task of creating, managing and developing our businesses towards maximizing shareholder value.
This is a task that we at the Management of the company know will never be “completed”, but is an ongoing process and a work-in-progress that we are fully dedicated and committed to do.
The New Ikaros Group – An “Adoptable” Organization.
The New, and improved, Ikaros Group Corporation’s concept is all about dynamics, flexibility, efficiency, speed, strength and aim towards shareholder profits.
Ikaros Group’s operational organization will furthermore be more trimmed, efficient and committed in the future. Therefore many of the operational elements in our Company have and will be outsourced to professional operators to reach better and more profitable results.
One of the tools used, in order to reach our goals, is for Ikaros Group to use its expanding contact network together with its concept of creating co-operations based on win-win models.
We, at Ikaros Group Corporation are and will be: dynamic, flexible, efficient, strong and fast in order to bring long-term success to all owners and co-operation partners of Ikaros Group Corporation.
In other words our mission is to become and be the best Captain on the waters of Asia in order to guide our “Fleet of Ships” and its “Passengers” as conveniently and fast as possible to our chosen destination.
This will be achieved with hard work, integrity and commitment, through the new and improved business model of Ikaros Group.
